Nobody is having a worse week than Shannon Sharpe who went from dropping his soft ESPN gig to dealing with a $20 million lawsuit from a girl who claims he and his Nightcap co-host, Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson, pushed a false narrative about her following a viral second at a Usher live performance.
In line with The U.S. Solar, the girl, Jimalita Tillman, is suing Sharpe, Johnson, and the podcast’s manufacturing firm Shay Shay Media for “false and defamatory statements” suggesting that she was married and her husband was submitting for divorce due to her participation in Usher’s spicy viewers expertise.
Within the grievance, she defined she was not married on the time of the viral second and that the defendants’ false narratives have been shared throughout their platforms, reaching thousands and thousands of followers, regardless of her “clear and public refutation of the false narrative.”
Tillman, who works as a World Director for the Harold Washington Cultural Middle, mentioned that she went on nationwide media reveals to battle again towards the allegations from the Nightcap hosts that she was a married girl.
Tillman is looking for $20 million in damages and has been in communication with the authorized group of Shay Shay media, which is “seeking to resolve this matter shortly,” per The U.S. Solar.
