Leon Thomas has achieved a brand new milestone on the Billboard charts.
His breakout single “Mutt” climbs from No. 18 to No. 10 this week on the Sizzling 100, marking his first high 10 entry on the favored singles chart.
Thomas took to social media to rejoice his new feat. “Over a 12 months later and I simply recieved [sic] my first solo high 10 entry,” he wrote in an Instagram publish.
He continued, “This might not have been attainable with out my PHOLKS, so thanks to each single one among you who has made this attainable and let this be an indication to maintain on working and chase your desires!”
Produced by longtime collaborators D. Phelps and Freaky Rob, “Mutt” was launched Aug. 9, 2024, because the lead single and title monitor to Thomas’ sophomore album. The music debuted at No. 100 on the Sizzling 100 dated Feb. 8, changing into Thomas’ first solo entry on the favored singles chart.
Since its launch, “Mutt” has steadily climbed a number of Billboard charts. To date, it’s reached No. 1 on Sizzling R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Sizzling R&B Songs, R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and R&B Digital Music Gross sales.
Earlier this month, “Mutt” was licensed 2x platinum by the Recording Trade Affiliation of America (RIAA) for promoting over two million equal models within the U.S.
Thomas, who not too long ago dropped his PHOLKS EP, is ready to embark on his large Mutts Don’t Heel World Tour. The three-leg tour kicks off Thursday (Oct. 30) in Dallas at Home of Blues. Alt-R&B singer Ambré will be a part of him.
