Following the incident, Alabama State Vice President and Director of Athletics Dr. Jason Cable launched an announcement on Nov. 28, calling Lorcens’ actions “unacceptable and unwarranted” and noting that they didn’t mirror the spirit of wholesome rivalry between the 2 faculties.
“The incident involving a member of the Tuskegee soccer crew pushing a member of the Mighty Marching Hornets on the conclusion of halftime was each unacceptable and unwarranted,” Cable mentioned. “It on no account displays the spirit of wholesome rivalry or the character of both historic establishment.”
