Ledisi has teamed up with GRAMMY-winning jazz and soul vocalist Gregory Porter for his or her new tune, “You Acquired What It Takes.” The one is a remake of the 1960 hit by Brook Benton and Dinah Washington, and it’s a part of Ledisi’s upcoming album, “For Dinah”, which is a tribute to the legendary Dinah Washington.
Based on Ledisi, “You’ve Acquired What It Takes” was a “should” for the undertaking. She defined that she wished to keep up the unique’s “unfastened, playful power” and mirror a few of Washington’s type. The brand new album, which is about to be launched on October 3, can even function collaborations with different artists and musicians.
