50 Cent is back in the booth — not to respond to T.I.‘s string of diss tracks, but to soundtrack the upcoming Power prequel. “No One Told Us What We’re Here For” features a buttery hook from Leon Thomas, and it’s proof Fif still got that magic when he locks in on the music.
Tip wasn’t about to let the week pass quietly either. He dropped “Trauma Bond” in response to 50 taunting him with a Surviving T.I. & Tiny documentary. The Grand Hustle boss put family first, sliding in bars like: “Integrity is priceless, that ain’t something you could finance.”
Denzel Curry officially introduces his supergroup The Scythe — A$AP Ferg, TiaCorine, Bktherula, and Key Nyata — with their debut album. And Gnarls Barkley (CeeLo Green and Danger Mouse) dropped Atlanta, their first album in 18 YEARS.
Meek Mill is in his reflective bag on the “Head High Freestyle,” Juice WRLD lives on with a posthumous cut featuring Marshmello, and Ty Dolla $ign catered to the ladies on Girl Music Vol. 1.
