Q Parker, previously of the R&B group 112, has introduced his second solo album, Evolution of Romance, Vol. 1.
The undertaking is about to launch on Nov. 14 through his label, Paramount Collective Ventures, in partnership with ONErpm.
Talking on his new album, Parker notes, “As an artist, I’ve all the time been a fan of romance and what it communicates to the particular person you’re keen on or are desirous about. After I set out on this solo journey, I used to be in search of an area to occupy, a lane that I may personal, and it occurred to me that we (R&B singers) haven’t been paying the proper of consideration to the women for some time.”
He continues, “I need this undertaking to be a dialog between women and men about affection, courtship, assist, love and all of the issues that true romance encompasses. I’ve grow to be a ‘Romance Supplier’ and I’m serving it up on a silver platter.”
The 11-track album will embrace the singles “BEG,” “Carry on Lovin’” and the newly shared “fff.” On the latter monitor, launched Oct. 24, Parker embraces being a supplier for his girl — and proudly spoiling her in each means doable — whereas solely wanting three issues: “F**ok me, feed me, be a fan of me,” he sings.
Parker launched his Evolution of Romance Period with the Blac Elvis-produced “BEG,” launched in August 2024. “We’re within the BEGging season! Beg! Earlier this spring, Parker returned with “Carry on Lovin’” that includes Rico Love and Dondria. “This report is a love letter to the music that raised me, the love I’ve lived, and the timeless feeling all of us chase,” Parker shared. “Working with Ghost Child and Rico Love, and paying homage to a track as iconic as ‘Two Events,’ makes this launch extremely particular to me.”
Evolution of Romance, Vol. 1 is the follow-up to Parker’s debut solo album, The MANual (2012).
