Tennessee Rep. Justin Jones was one of many two Black members of the “Tennessee Three” (Rep. Justin Pearson was the opposite) who have been expelled from the Republican-controlled state legislature for preventing vociferously for gun management legal guidelines following a mass taking pictures. The third member, Rep. Gloria Johnson, who’s white, was spared the punitive measure. The story turned nationwide information and each Jones and Pearson have been each reinstated by the Shelby County Board of Commissioners after they dominated the expulsion “hasty”.
Rep. Jones not too long ago appeared on Sean Hannity’s Fox News present the place the host wished to propagandize and painting immigrants as the only purveyors of crime in Tennessee.
Jones wasn’t going for that. At all.
At one level within the “interview”, Hannity cynically requested Rep. Jones if he may listing the names of any of the victims of crimes dedicated by undocumented immigrants within the state, to which Jones deliciously replied:
“You need to undergo a listing? Go via the listing of the pedophiles and perverts who hang around at Mar-a-Lago,”
Oh, however he wasn’t executed there. Rep. Jones tore into Hannity in a manner that only a few folks have, particularly on his personal present. It was wonderful to observe.
“To your viewers: this man needs you to be afraid, he needs you to be scared of your immigrant neighbors as a result of he needs to guard the billionaires who hold you from having healthcare, letting farms shut. He doesn’t care about crime, he hangs out with pedophiles and criminals in Mar-a-Lago. He doesn’t care about going after rapists. He cares about maintaining you fearful to manage you as a result of he needs to distract you from the true enemy, that are the company CEOs who’re screwing you over.”
Protect this brotha in any respect prices. When folks complain about Democrats being feckless, cringey, and unwilling to combat laborious, present them Rep. Justin Jones and remind them that there are extra politicians than those you see on TV each evening or in your social media feeds.
