According to Atlanta News First, the incident occurred on Thursday, December 18. Per the outlet, a college bus was transporting college students from Langston Hughes High School when a useful resource officer and a scholar grew to become concerned in a “confrontation.” Per Johnson-Hunt, the officer was “new” and “thought he didn’t belong on the bus.”
When Johnson-Hunt refused to exit the bus, the “useful resource officer tased him a number of occasions.”

Resource Officer Is Reportedly Removed From Active Duty As Student, Lanier Johnson-Hunt, Speaks Out
In an interview with Atlanta News First, Johnson-Hunt says he was expelled from college. Additionally, the outlet reviews that the useful resource officer was “faraway from energetic responsibility.” Nonetheless, the footage of the incident has gone viral on-line, with Fulton County Schools reportedly releasing an announcement:
“The incident is being taken significantly and is at present beneath assessment.”
Meanwhile, Johnson-Hunt instructed the press:
