Rum.Gold Announces New Album ‘Is There Anybody Home?’

Alt-R&B singer rum.gold has revealed his new album Is There Anybody Home? will launch March 27 through Independent Co.

The 11-track album is split into two elements, with the latter half — Disc 2 (Act of God) — having been launched in November.

Disc 1 (Friend of a Friend) consists of the newly shared single “Walking Dead,” produced by Rahmm Silverglade, Rogers, and Zach Ess. Regarding the observe, rum.gold defined, it “is about grieving the dwelling, and what turns into of these we as soon as knew.”

Is There Anybody Home? will observe the D.C. native’s 2023 album, U Street Anthology, which paid tribute to his hometown.

In an interview with SoundFynd, rum.gold defined why his Is There Anybody Home? is in two elements. “When I began making the songs, possibly like two years in the past, I observed that there have been two items, or two views of the identical story. So in my thoughts, it made sense to separate up these views into two elements,” he mentioned. “The views are loosely maturity and, kind of, childhood.”

Rum.gold will help his new album on his Is There Anybody Home Tour, which kicks off Feb. 20 in Los Angeles. He will make stops in San Diego, Seattle, New York, D.C. and extra earlier than concluding April 11 in Atlanta.
