New England Patriots large receiver Stefon Diggs is facing accusations of strangulation and assault from his former private chef, ESPN reports.
The incident allegedly came about at Diggs’ residence on Dec. 2. The chef, who has not been recognized, stated the confrontation occurred throughout a dispute over cash she is owed.

The chef instructed authorities that Diggs reportedly tried to choke her along with his elbow across the neck. She stated that she was later thrown onto the mattress by Diggs, who known as her a liar.
She left the residence and stayed with a good friend. She stated she returned on Dec. 9 to get her property. While there, she stated Diggs instructed her to talk to his assistant, who instructed the chef she needed to signal a nondisclosure settlement to obtain the cash owed to her. She refused and left.
When she reported the incident to police, she acknowledged she didn’t wish to file fees. She determined to take action on Dec. 22.
“We assist Stefon,” the New England Patriots wrote within the assertion. “We will proceed to assemble info and can cooperate absolutely with the suitable authorities and the NFL as obligatory.
