Shoppe Black introduced The Diaspora Salon will return to Marrakech in 2026 for a four-day gathering focused on culture, creativity, and international change.
The 2026 version of the Diaspora Salon is scheduled for Feb. 8–11, 2026, and can happen at Jnane Tamsna, a boutique lodge and cultural retreat. The occasion coincides with the annual 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair, which attracts artists, collectors, and curators from around the globe.
The Salon was based by Meryanne Loum-Martin, a hotelier and patron. Loum-Martin additionally owns Jnane Tamsna. According to Shoppe Black, Loum-Martin created the gathering as an area for dialog and connection amongst Africans and members of the worldwide African diaspora.
