Tory Lanez Challenges Fairness Of Megan Thee Stallion Trial

Information of the most recent argument made by Lanez’s authorized staff comes only a few days after a California appeals courtroom denied two petitions they filed. The petitions alleged that his due course of rights had been violated. Additionally they alleged that invaluable proof had not been made out there to protection attorneys. Allegedly, this included the gun used to shoot Meg, and the bullet fragments that had been present in her foot.

The appeals courtroom’s ruling cited a response from prosecutors. They insisted that the gun was on the Los Angeles Police Division, and that testing it for DNA one more time would not change something.

“Petitioner has did not [show] that extra DNA testing would set up a declare of precise innocence,” they wrote. “Each events’ consultants at trial agreed that DNA testing of the journal confirmed none of petitioner’s DNA was current, and as to the gun itself the inconclusive findings may neither exclude nor embrace petitioner as a minor contributor to the DNA discovered on the gun.”
